MFE will actively campaign for next national elections

At the meeting of the national executive bureau in January, MFE adopted several instruments aimed at focusing next electoral campaign for national elections (23-24 February 2013) onto the need of having a reliable government capable of effectively contributing to the progress to-wards the creation of a European federation. The campaign of MFE will address candidates, political parties and public opinion.

50 years “Élysée Treaty”: Success story and task for the future

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the “Élysée Treaty”, the chairmen of the Parliamentary Groups of UEF Germany in the European Parliament and the German Bundestag, Matthias Groote and Manuel Sarrazin, together drew up a declaration, in which they state that the “Élysée Treaty” embodies historically unprecedented political success story.

Return to former strength for tomorrow’s Europe

In their new year’s declaration to the members of UEF Germany, President Rainer Wieland MEP and General Secretary Christian Moos call for a strong commitment both for the German section and the European idea, as Europe will face many important challenges in 2013. These include the survival of the common currency, the establishment of a fiscal and political union and the preparation of the European elections in 2014.
